Hello Everyone
Today is a really good day. Being in the GREEN industry is by far the best choice i have made to date... Other than having my family. That being said i really would like to clarify some things and misconceptions that are sometimes related to being GREEN.
1. it doesnt take much effort to be Green
(A) all you need to do is decide and educate yourself on different ways of helping
(B) After deciding which route is best for you.... GO FOR IT, Recycle plastic, Aluminum, and especially Take your CFL bulbs back to the store after they burn out instead of "throwing them away"... you have to buy new ones anyways at that same store.
2. Its expensive to be Green
(A) its usually only an UP FRONT Cost thats sometimes expensive. Imagine buying your new car with cash and then only having to pay "liability coverage" as your monthly expense. It ultimately saves you money because your paying NO PAYMENT or INTEREST right? Same with being green
(B) In a lot of cases like LIGHTING... it PAYS YOU to be green... You are saving money hourly by using LED lighting. And your saving Gas by not having to buy replacements every year or two. Recycling Aluminum will put cash back into your pocket also.
3. Green is only a Democratic/Liberal policy to scare us
(A) this is just not correct. We all LIVE and Breath and Drink the water from our rivers and lakes. Why should only 50% of america try to create a safer water supply? Or why should others stay away from a GREAT Cause just to create a division. It definitely hurts our health more if we cant work together to decrease the toxins and poisons in our drinking water.
These are just a few misconceptions of the "GREEN MOVEMENT" and there are a lot of people that are a LOT smarter than myself saying and preaching this same message. So try and do us all a favor and recycle, buy LED lighting instead of Mercury filled Fluorescent lights, Save your money by being GREEN. Make the effort and help us all out, help our children and help our planet..... Its simple, Easy, and will make a difference for us all.
